How to obtain a short-term Spanish visa
Before starting to talk about the short-term Spain visa, let us give a short definition of the concept of the short-term Spain visa and some information related to this type of visa.
Definition of short-term Spain visa
The short-term Spain visa is the visa that allows its holder to travel to Spain and stay on its territory for 90 days within a period of 6 months.
During this period, it is possible to enter several other European countries within the Schengen countries. Therefore, this visa is also called a Schengen visa or Schengen visa.

In general, the documents required in the Spain visa application are divided into two parts.

Important information: Bank statement for Spain visa application 2024
Some people wonder how much money must be available in the bank in order to apply for a Spanish visa.
The answer is as follows: You must have an amount of money in your account through which you can spend approximately 64.86 euros per day in Spain.
For example, if you want to spend a month (30 days) in Spain, you must do the following calculation:
30 x 64.86 = 1945.8 euros
In other words, 22 thousand Moroccan dirhams, or approximately 271 thousand Algerian dinars, or 6 thousand Tunisian dinars are enough for a bank statement to enter Spain for a month.
What happens after submitting the application at the Spanish Consulate?
When the applicant completes the above steps, the Consulate will process the application for a decision, either acceptance or rejection.
Within 15 days, a response will be made, and in most cases, if all documents are correct, the response will be positive. If 60 days have passed and no response has been received, the applicant’s file has been rejected, and he can file an appeal against the decision with the Appeals Committee at the Consulate.
